The City of Light

Paris, France.

The City of Love is one of the most beautiful places you could visit, and if you do decide to visit be sure to take the time to see the Eiffel Tower. You can climb it to the top, or even have a nice time at one of the restaurant in perfect view of the tower. I recommend staying until night time, when the tower lights up and you can see why Paris is called the "City of Light". While the Eiffel Tower is one of the most popular things to do in Paris, it's not the only fun thing there is to do. Another large attraction would be Disneyland Paris, or originally known as Euro Disneyland.

Speaking of popular attractions, another one would be the Notre Dame, a beautiful Gothic style cathedral that took nearly 200 years to build. It began in 1163, and was finished in 1345. Over the years it had gotten damaged, especially in the French Revolution. Since then, it has been repaired and rigorously cleaned, being completed using lasers and tiny brushes to clean it the best that it could be cleaned. They do offer free guided tours in different languages, and I'd definitely recommended taking the time out of your trip to go visit and see the tour.

If theme parts or cathedral's aren't your cup of tea, then you can always visit the Louvre, a very well known museums in the world. It was opened in 1793, which also makes it one of the oldest museums in the world. Not only is it the home of the famous Mona Lisa, but it's filled with many other works that are equally as beautiful.

There are many, many more sights to see in Paris, and it's a place you'd want to spend forever in. You defiantly won't get to see all of Paris and it's beauty in a single day, or maybe two. If you can, take the time and see all of Paris has to offer, you definitely won't regret it.

London, England.

A city filled with history.

A beautiful city, rich with history everywhere you go. London is a place you could spend ages in, and never truly get bored of the sights before you.

London isn't only know for it's sights, in fact, London has a vast amount of museums that people travel across the world to go to. If you have a love for art, the National Gallery would most likely be the place for you. It's well known for it's collection of art, home to over 2,000 painting, some of the most popular ones we know today. From Vincent Van Gogh, to Leonardo Da Vinci, this museum is worth the time. If art isn't something you're interested, London is filled with other museums that everyone is bound to love. They have a natural history museum, a science museum, even a wax figure museum. There's something for everyone, and that's something that makes London so wonderful.

If you'd rather be spending your time outside, London has a wide variety of parks that surly you would enjoy just as much as the next person. I'm sure if you've done any research you've heard of the famous Hyde Park, located in the middle of London. Ponds and flowers surround it, a perfect place for a picnic in the afternoon, if the weathers not too bad. If you decided to go there, stop by the Diana memorial fountain.

The Buckingham palace is a place everyone seems to want to go to, perhaps to get an idea on what a life of royalty is like. Personally, I think the changing of the guard is much more interesting than taking a tour of a palace. Another popular place would be the Palace of Westminster, of course.

London is a beautiful place, and if you have the time to visit I would definitely recommend doing so. Give yourself some time to enjoy the city, so you don't feel rushed or overwhelmed when trying to do everything at once.
